Gracie and I had the best afternoon together. She’s taken to saying “Ohhhhhhh-k,” which its what she said when I handed her the toothbrush (futile) and again when I put her in bed,”Ohhhhhhh-k.”

We took a little time to waltz in the warm afternoon sunshine, and I held her in my arms, her little hand in mine, tiny arm outstretched. We twirled and twirled, just like my father taught me, 1-2-3, 1-2-3, and when Pandora radio changed to pop, she danced on her own little feet in a tidy circle.
