Welcome to A Story A Day,

This is my commitment to live one great experience every day, generating one story every day, for one year. Join me by adding your own experiences in the comments.

Day One:  March 8, 2010

This evening I attended a concert by Dennis James, a master of the glass ‘armonica’, a beautiful instrument consisting of 43 bowls spinning in water. They are played by wetting the fingers and touching them with the interior knuckles of the fingers to create a sweet, whispery tone.  Never heard of it before, and it was fascinating and beautiful. He played with the OdeonQuartet, who were magnificent. I loved their beautiful Phillip Glass piece.
